Mark Your Calendar for the 2010 Inaugural Gala & Silent Auction
The 2010 Inaugural Gala & Silent Auction is set for Friday, January 15th from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Wyndham in Lisle. As one of the Chamber’s signature events, this night of cocktails, dinner and dancing kicks off the new year with a formal transition of our board of directors and board chair.
In 2009, over 400 Chamber Members attended
the Inaugural Gala with more than $25,000 worth of items up
for bid in one of the Chamber's largest ever silent
auctions; with popular items including dinner with
Naperville Mayor, A. George Pradel, tickets to the Blue Man
Group and green fees at White Eagle Golf Club. |

Ambassadors Hold Rally and Annual Awards Ceremony
Mike Cooper, Sales Kitchen, was awarded Rookie Ambassador of the Year. Paul Feith, Paul Gregory Media, earned the title of Goodwill Ambassador of the Year. Bob Jung, Bob Jung Painting and Decorating, again was named Ambassador of the Year. |

Sustaining Strong Boards for Effective Fundraising During this difficult economic period, the board and staff of nonprofit organizations must embrace the responsibility of raising philanthropic dollars. This workshop will focus on the realities of today's nonprofit fundraising environment and how board and staff collaboration and outreach is critical to reaching fundraising goals. This program will be valuable for long-term board members mindful of succession planning; individuals interested in becoming board members; board leaders who want to learn about effective board fundraising; and nonprofit professional staff.
