Chamber Launches Leadership Institute The program was designed to bring together the best in class leadership development and area business leaders interested in taking their organizations to the next level. The Leadership Institute offers participants the opportunity to learn and apply the competencies of highly effective leaders to drive business results. Kicking off in January, with a day and a half retreat, participants will create an individualized leadership program to ensure successful outcomes. The program will enable participants to change their leadership culture to drive individual and organizational results in the areas of strategic thinking, ethics and values, goal setting, teamwork, relationship building, stress tolerance, coaching, and business acumen.

This workshop will focus on the realities of today's nonprofit fundraising environment and how board and staff collaboration and outreach is critical to reaching fundraising goals. This program will be valuable for long-term board members mindful of succession planning; individuals interested in becoming board members; board leaders who want to learn about effective board fundraising; and nonprofit professional staff.
