Legislative News

This week the Chamber is sponsoring two meetings to educate our Members and the public about two critical issues, and we wanted to extend an invitation and encourage your participation.

Monday, August 10th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Chamber’s Legislative Committee will begin analyzing the Video Poker Act.

Also, if you have questions about how health care changes would impact your business, your tax burden, your employees and their families, attend the Chamber’s Business Roundtable on Wednesday, August 12th, and become educated on the issues.

Business After Hours

Please join us for a special presentation by Mayor A. George Pradel to recognize Biaggi's recent honor of being named the highest scoring Italian restaurant in the U.S. by Consumer Reports.

The award was given after a nationwide survey had been conducted of over 70,000 people on over 140,000 restaurant visits, to determine guest satisfaction in chain restaurants.

YPN Business Meeting Friday

The Business Advisory Committee will be holding an informal networking luncheon at Zaidi's! If you are a long-time Chamber Member, or if you have recently joined, this is a great opportunity to increase your list of Chamber contacts. The cost of the luncheon is $15.00.
